Crisp, clean and incomparably quaffable. Hardywood Pils sparkles a brilliant shade of gold with a rich, cloud-white head. 355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Husky, strawy aroma, minimally musty hints of silage. Taste is bitter and grassy hoppy, minimally citrusy, diluted hints of lemon peel, minimally sweet, slightly grainy, malty basis. So-so.

Draft at Lost & Found. Clean, crisp and clear pils. Not quite up to the euro standards, but pretty damn close. Smooth and slick Grainy backbone, with mild hops kick on the back plane.

12oz bottle. Pours very clear macro pale color, small head, marginal lacing. It’s a very clean, easy drinking beer. Light mineral quality to flavor and sightly tingling carbonation. Just some white bread, the whitest of white bread, malts. Aroma has a slight touch of Noble hops. Nothing special, not much to write about but easy drinking and definitely close to style with no flaws.

Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Lager aroma no doubt with some noble hop leaf. Yes a lovely soft lager. German in style. Had similar beers in and around Bamberg. Bit over carbonated. Some lemon some leafy hop. Some bitterness on the finish. Overall a very good and authentic stab at the style.
