7 week old bottle A: Pale straw yellow with 1/2" of thick but fast falling white head. Busy bubbles visible. Faint haze creates a slight greenish tint. S: Fresh grassy hops scent is nice. A little light grain or sweet bread. More grain opens up as drunk. T: Grainy malt breadiness at first sip. Hops come in strong and again grassy with mild herbal bitterness lingering. Subtle but very good flavors and balance. M: Light bodied with soft carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel but refreshing and very drinkable. O: Quite good and just hoppy enough. Well worth a repeat purchase.

12 ozer shared by Willrunforbeer. Crystal clear gold, thin head. Aroma is strong Noble hops, light honey and grain. What this beer gibe you is a clean and refreshing, classic example of a German style Pils. Nicely crisp and clean finish in a lighter body that ends lightly sweet and extremely dry. Very well made.

Crisp, super clear golden coloured body with a very thin, one centimetre tall pure white head - fairly ugly. Aroma of lemons, light malt, biscuits, grass, light herbs and a touch of czech hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a deep rich malt mouthful and a bit of a biscuity bite at the finish. Aftertaste shows hints of grassiness along with the lightest notes of hops and a little earthy bitterness as well. Overall, a relatively subdued flavour with some light complexities and a solid herbal and grassy flavour make this very typical for the style and not bad at all - just not too much of a standout at all, either. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop (12th Street Location) in Arlington, Virginia on 19-December-2014 for US$2,59 sampled at home just steps away, in Washington on 27-December-2014.
