Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown with an amber hue and a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of chocolate and dark bread with a bit of sharp alcohol. Flavor has a strong chocolate note up front and some sweet toffee with a bit of booze.
