Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a deep brown with a light creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark grains and a bit of roasted malts with a light toffee note underlying. Flavor has a nice smooth dark grain note with light roast and toffee underlying.
