Bottle thanks to Kyle! Pours a murky yellowish brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of caramel, maple syrup and sweet dark grains with underlying spice and a bit of apple. Flavor starts with sweet grains, maple and toffee and has some apple, spice and gingerbread in the finish. A bit muddled.

Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Sweet and cloying with sugar and spice and some things nice.
