Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a hazy pale yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma kind of has a light passion fruit or guava note with some earthy grain and a good amount of oak as well as a hint of funk. Flavor has some light fruits with light grain and oak as well as an earthy/funkynote. Slightly muddled.

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy pisswater body, thin off-white ring of carbonation. Tangy, thin body with grain and buttery oak. Some green apple and vinegar in the nose and body. The subtleties of the base beer are pointlessly buried in oak and age. Not pleasant.
