Our molasses porter named for General Logan is back, this time aged in Heaven Hill Rye barrels to accentuate the rich, roasty malts and sweet toffee molasses finish. Not for the faint of heart!

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a deep brown with a dark brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a good amount of molasses and toffee with dark grains and some barrel. Flavor had notes of molasses, dark grains, roasted malts and bitter chocolate backed by a bit of barrel.
