Poured into a pint glass at the brewpub, the appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a off white to tan foamy head. Dissipates nicely. Sly messiness in the lace.
The aroma starts off with sweet milky creamy sweet milk chocolate, smooth with sweet vanilla, sly roast.
The flavor leans sweet through the chocolate malts. Muddled vanilla sweetness. Rolling sweet and toastiness slides into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice crisp smooth sweet feel rolling about over my tongue.
Overall, nice milk/sweet stout that I would have again.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured black with a deep brown head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a good amount of roast with some coffee and a bit of sweet chocolate coming out. Flavor was similar with strong roast, but instead of the coffee note with a growing milk chocolate note balanced the beer nicely.
