Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Orange-brown body, thin cream head. Hints of diacetyl in nose. Hops, toast, and diacetyl.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Sampled from the tap at the MBGSF 2011. Poured a clear amber with a light brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of ginger with a light hop note. Flavor began with pine that balanced with the ginger that came out more in the finish.
