Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-dark copper color with a film of a little white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had some toast, toffee/caramel malts, some chestnuts and apples.
The flavor was towards the sweet side with a developing little bit of dark fruit playing with the apple sweetness. Decently blended aftertaste rolling into the finish.
The feel was just a tad under than medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, I’d have this again during football season if I lived in Michigan. I didn’t mind this beer one bit.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a clear earthy brown with a near white head that dissipated slowly to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma had notes of roasted malt, toast and a slight backing note of sweet chocolate. Flavor had notes of toast and biscuit with some growing sweet grain and a hint of sweet chocolate in the finish.
