6th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Murky purple body, thin to medium light purple head. Nose of sweet blueberries. Intense, prickly, super-sweet, rough body with dense blueberry, sugar, and potent alcohol. Freakish and unpleasant.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured a near clear deep plum with a white head that had a purple hue and lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of sweet grains with a strong blueberry note with slight alcohol. Flavor was amazingly sweet with grain and sugar. The blueberry note was sweet and grew in to the finish. There was also some alcohol in the finish. Overall just way too sweet.
