6th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Cloudy red body, thin off-white head. Sharp, intense, fruity raspberry nose. Super-intense body, like Lindeman’s on steroids, sour, tart, and sweet with pure raspberry. Quite good.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured a hazy scarlet with white head that had a pink hue and dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of tart raspberries and not much else. Flavor began slightly sweet with raspberries that grew to tartness and then finally became sour. Quite one note, but it is a sour raspberry beer.
