Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy near black with a light brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of sweet grains with an underlying fruit note that seemed to be pineapple. Flavor was similar with smooth sweet grains, some chocolate and a late joining pineapple note. Played in to the name quite well.
