What do you get when you mix pilsner, wheat and munich malts with Slovenian Styrian Goldings hops, cardamom seeds and French saison yeast and allow it to naturally ferment at ridiculously high temperatures? A seriously spicy aroma and a kick-butt saison beer at 8.5% ABV. It’s the Coup de Grâce and it may have you asking for mercy.

Sampled at Revolution. Poured a dull hazy orange with a thin white head that dissipated slowly. Aroma was full of spice including cardamon with some light citrus. Flavor again had lots of spice and was quite dry with a bit of underlying citrus.
