Bottle. Color: Orangish golden, stable white head. Aroma: Tart, vinuous, fruity, funk. Taste: Dry, tart gueuze sourness. Funk notes. A bit more acidic than most other beers from the VAT series, but still smooth. Hints of wood. Nice refreshing one.

375 ml corked bottle at Polar, Madrid. It pours cloudy amber with a snow-white, short-lived head that leaves a long-lasting small layer. Aroma is very intense: strawberry, green apple, cider, raspberry jelly. Taste is bone dry, tart and crisp to the extreme, with a surprising tinge of bitterness. Very long finish. Fantastic.

Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Concentrated aroma of lemon and horse blanket. Tart and funky, with lots of horse blanket. Very intense, with underlying sweetness and juicy lemon. Mild bitter finish. Sublime.

nr 3 uit de serie van 4, gouden met witte kraag. aroma komt iets muf binnen, aards, stevige paardendeken, stro, gras, smaken zijn redelijk trekkend zuur, hout, zoet, kruidig, citrus, hooi,stro, limoen, vrij droog, abrikoos, zure karnemelk, yoghurt.

Bottle pour at De Lambikstoempers Bierweekend. Affervescent deep gold, clear. Woody nose, lemon, leather, apples. Soft, woody flavor, leather and horse blanket. Spitzy, citrusy, some vanilla and oak. Nice.

Bottle shared by DCLawyer, thanks Jason! Slightly hazy golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of big barnyard funk, big hay. Tastes of stone fruit, tart notes, funk, citrus. Light body with a dry finish.
