Our beer MILA has a combination of 4 different strains of top quality barley and is infused with 4 different types of the finest hops brought together to delight your palette. Refresh yourself during hot summer days with our Golden Ale, which leaves a rich citrus taste after each sip. All beers from our craft brewery Barilo are made with traditional old time methods, without the use of modern additives. Using modern technology in controlled conditions, we produced this gentle Golden Ale. The barley proteins in our Ale produce a mildly cloudy beer, and on the bottom of the bottle is a thin film of yeast, which is also known to be a rich source of B complex vitamins. Our beer is 100% natural and its ideal serving temperature is 8-12°C. Cheers!

0.5 l bottle from Mali dućan Ivana (Matejuška), Split. Shared with Dinek. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately buttery, slightly malty with a touch of spicy hops. Flavour is less buttery, but still too much for the style. Light grainy, fruity and spicy flavours. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately lasting dry finish with light intensity. Some flaws, otherwise refreshing and drinkable.

Bottled 500ml. -from Magic Beer Room Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, medium to big white head, light fruity herbal nose. Sweetish malty, notes of herbs and yeast with rather sweet fruity finish. Quite messy and even not so fresh. Pitty.

Bottle courtesy of the brewer, thanks Tomislav! Full murky apricot color, lasting big white head. The aroma is immediately promising... mild, flowery and fruity, vague almond perhaps, creamy. Taste... similar nice flowery notes, and a creamy background going into a dry finish, just mildly bitterish and herbal. Perhaps some trace trace phenolic touches at first, but quickly gone. A solid beer inside the confines of the style. Would hope to try it fresh / on tap, since bottle conditioning and transport might have contributed to the slightly excessive dryness. A well made golden ale.
