DDH West Coast IPA w/ Mosaic, Nelson Cryo, & Rakau/Nelson Hop Kief
Our Eighth year West Coast IPA is a celebration of our constant evolution of technique and ingredients. For this style, the combination of Mosaic and Nelson is something that always gets us excited, but this lot of Nelson Cryo really brings this one home, and brought together with the Hop Kief, it elevates those aromatics to another level. Tasting notes? Think all the blueberry, fresh kiwi, and fresh grapefruit zest.

Pint can pours with a clear gold colored body that supports a near white head of lightly loose foam. The aroma offers up grapefruit, orange zest, white grape and then a bit of berry notes in the background. The taste delivers pleasing levels of citrus and spicy like hop bitterness that grabs my attention. Behind the citrus are thin layers of berry to vaguely tropical fruit hoppiness. This creates a nice rounded hop bill floating on a modest malt base and a adequate mouth feel. It ends dry and crisp demanding another sip.
