16oz can from Brewer's Haven. Dark brown pour, one finger foamy tan head. Nice roasty aroma, burnt toast. Taste brings a mild bitter bite, rich roast malts with a hint of sweetness. I, for one, am quite happy with the resurgence of this style.

Dark brown body with medium fast dissipating off white head. Roast malt aroma, chocolate and herb. Full malty taste with cocoa, roast malt and toast notes. Long malty finish
