We'd like to introduce you to our most recent collaboration beer with @vebrewing which is a light lager named Margaret.

While searching for inspiration for our beer over a heap of fried chicken, we knew the only thing that could satisfy our thirst was going to be an adjuncted light lager. Alas, Margaret was born. Pilsner malt, flaked corn and rice syrup were layered with Von Eberts hand selected Hallertau Mittlfruh hops and a touch of US grown Tettnang hops from @goschiefarms

The resulting beer has a crisp and light body with a hint of rice sweetness and aromas of breadcrust and lightly peppered crackers. It's on draft at both of our breweries now so come on down and have a couple after you float the Clack this weekend.

@eric_ebel 's grandmother Margaret McDonald, also know as the sassy queen of Jersey City, was a mother of 5 who lived there her entire life. She didn't take crap from anyone, refused to learn how to drive (would have loved Portland), and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Clear gold body with white head. Corn and Hop aroma. Hoppy taste in a light body with a quick bready finish.
