A classic Irish beer style enhanced by aromatic American hops. Its aromas of coffee, along with aromas reminiscent of chocolate were created by a combination of six different malts. Blended with them, and taking the beer to a new level, are aromas of pine and citrus fruits brought on Amarillo and Simcoe hops.

Black colored, medium beige frothy head, OK lasting. Aroma is of some roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, moderate pine and citrusy hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, coffee, roasty, chocolate, medium hoppy pine and citrus notes, medium bitterness, dry roasty/hoppy finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Very good! (on tap, Hop In, Zagreb)

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, pours black with a reddish tinge and a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, with a healthy hop dosage and light bitter coffee. Flavour is robust, with medium-high roasted malt, assertive piney hops, and light coffee bitterness. Wonderful hop character providing a nice intensity to this. Well done.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, light chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, some chocolate, noticable hops and light burnt touch with dryish bitter finish. Good one but something is missing...

Tap at Craft Room. Looks quite nice, blackish, brown head if I remember correctly. Dry, malty aroma, vague chocolate, strangely stale in a way, and not that hoppy. Unsure about this, will retry it because of it. The taste, however, did not disappoint. Smooth, dark malts galore, lgiht roast, vague chocolate, no coffee, full and sweetish, vague herbal hoppiness that's there more in feeling than in flavor, buried under layers of malt, way better balanced as it warms really. Nice enough, not their best beer perhaps, but I'd go for this again without any qualms!
