Tauro Nefiltruota Gira – a traditional yet exceptional naturally fermented, unfiltered gira. Because it is left unfiltered, the drink becomes thick and full-bodied with a rich flavor. To make it truly special, it is enhanced with rye and hops. This is Tauro gira – unfiltered and exceptionally flavorful.

From a 500ml bottle. Stable tan-coloured head to an unclear red-brown body. Aroma of sweet bread. Taste of prunes and sweet malts. Honey sweet ending. Ok version of a kvas (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).

Dark brown colour, small head. Notes of dark rye bread, a bit of sweet aromas like caramel or honey. Medium sweetness. Drinkable and thirst-quenching, sweetness does not disturb and the aroma feels very natural.

First rating: Medium brown head. Clear reddish brown body. Deep earthy honeyish aroma with plastic spice notes. Sweet-dryish earthy honey and rye bread taste with roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, slick mouthfeel. No real aftertaste, with lingering honey and rye bread notes. Refreshing and interesting. (0.5l bottle, shop, Vilnius.) 6,4,6,3,13=3.2
Second rating: Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Rye bread and syrup aroma with oily earthy notes. Sweet earthy rye bread taste with syrupy notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, slick mouthfeel. No aftertaste. Nice, but lacking in complexity. (0.5l bottle, from iki extra, Vilnius.) 6,4,5,3,11=3.0
