Bottle from Lekkerbier, St. Nicolaasga. Pours very foamy. Aroma is dark malt with creamy lactose, coffee, milk chocolate, and some roast. Flavour is sweet with a mild roasty bitterness. Body is thin to medium with too much carbonation. Pretty tasty aroma, falls a bit short in the other departments.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque black colored brew with an dry bitter taste but there is some faint sweetness. Hints of roasted malts and some sweet lactose, in good proportions. Also an very big foamy head and possible gushing abilities.

Sampled from bottle shared @ tasting. Nice dark, nearly black color with a nice decent sized brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, lightly lactose perhaps, lightly sweetish hints but with an underlying (dark) malt bitter base. Not bad.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met Roelzie86 Tomhendriksen. Diep donkerbruin bier met donker beige schuim. Aroma en smaak is houtig en cognac achtig. Jammer dat er weinig nasmaak is.

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven en Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een gebrande melkachtige geur. De smaak is vol, koffie met een melk achtige afdronk.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg Black with a tan head. Caramel and sweet coffee aroma ( or 'sweat coffee' as the label mentions). Taste is sweet which is proper for a milk stout. Mild roast and a bit thin body. I always feel a bit disappointed or even betrayed when a pitch black beer with a tan head doesn't taste like a massive imperial stout, even though that's my own biased mistake I guess. Besides this recurring point of discussion with myself this is a decent milk stout.
