440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, juicy, mango, light tart grapefruit, dry, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can via the online shop. Fully hazy pale gold. Sturdy thin white foam is leggy and lacing. Nose has a big nelson twang. Ripe sweet citrus. Bit of pineapple. Light sweet grain and some oats (can everyone just fuck off putting oats in beer please?). Taste is pretty sweet and a bit milky before a hefty hit of citrus pith bitterness kicks in. Mouthfeel matches up good. Bitter finish.

Can. Color: Very hazy orange, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, fruity blend of melon, citrus, peach and grape. Taste: Fruity hop, notes of orange, melon, sweet white grapes and some (over)ripe peach. Smooth and quite dense malty body. On the sweetish side for me personally but a nice complexity. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Dry-ish bittery finish. Nice one.

Can from Hop Shop Aberdeen. Hazy deep golden body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach, lemon sponge and peanut shell. Flavour of nectarine and kiwi. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Soft and very easy drinking for the ABV. Azvex are quietly becoming one of the UK’s best breweries.
