From tap at Craft House Prague, as Konrad Bizon Traditional Ale. Clear amber copper color with off white head. Malty and light hoppy aroma, bread, caramel, toffee, some smoked notes - tar, citrusy fruity. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Unclear, amber colored, medium off white frothy head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bit bready, some candy fruity notes, bit toast, light herbal notes. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, light candy fruit notes, bit bready, some toasted notes, light+ herbal bitterness, sweetish finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. 0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, light hopy notes, caramel, floral notes, loght resin. Hazy brown color, white head. Malty taste, caramel, floral notes, resin, light to medium sweet, light bitter. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation and malty, bitter-sweet finish. Good.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, shared at Dan’s. Pours mid brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, malt, light toasting. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Butelka 0,5 BARWA: ciemno miedziane, klarowne. PIANA: jasno beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, obfita, średnio trwała, zdobi szkło. AROMAT: słodowo-alkoholowy z nutą estrów (ciemne owoce), likierowy, trochę przypomina aromat jak w Belgijskich Strong Ale’ach (tych trzecio ligowych) . SMAK: zbożowo-słodowe, skórka przypieczonego chleba, złamane cierpką goryczką ziołową o korzennym finiszu, nieprzyjemna trochę spirytusowa alkoholowość. Wysycenie średnie, puste, wodniste. Zakupione z ciekawości przez prostą ale fajną etykietę. Już sama cena sugerowała że będzie poniżej średniej ale ciekawość była silniejsza.

DIeses BIer ist nach der Heimatstadt der Brauerei Vratislavice bei Liberec benannt. Selbst in der Heimtgegend ist die Brauerei nicht besonders bekannt und beliebt. Dieses Spezialbier der Brauerei habe ich aus einem Craftbier-Spezialitäten-Geschäft in Prag. Das Etikett ziert ein Stierkopf und nach Genuss dieses Biers soll man dessen Stärke in sich spüren. Das BIer bildet eine nette Schaumkrone und hat eine rot Farbe, der Geruch ist stark malzlastig. Ebenso der Geschmack: Im Antrunk ist es ganz fein, schwingt sich zu einem ganz gutem Körper empor um mit einem stark bitteren klebrigen Nachgeschmack zu verbleiben. Es ist auf jedenfall etwas besonderes, aber es ginge sicher auch noch besser.

Lahev (Diky, ty učitele!)Amber coloured with a ruby sheen, hazy,creamy and stable medium-sized off-white head with a good lace; moderate nose of dried fruits, toasted malt, even chocolatey traces and vanilla with a pretty solid herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied and really soft; lingering fruity-vinous finish with a moderate hoppy counterweight. Very smooth, very pleasant and slightly underrated...

Nagy, tartós hab, barna szín. Pörkölt malátás, enyhén fűszeres illat. Karamellel indít, ami fokozatosan átcsap odaégetett cukros aromába, mellette maláta és némi fűszeresség lelhető fel. Közepesen testes és szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nem is lenne rossz, ha nem lenne az az égetett cukros íz.
