0.5 l bottle. Pours deep brown with a nice beige head. Chocolate, toffee, coffee and earthy notes in aroma and taste. Short sweet finish, light to medium bodied, softly carbonated. Nice one, but not expectional.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear brown colored with an red glow. Taste is dry bitter with hints of caramel, roasted malts and dried fruits and little some citrus fruits.

Tap at Frantiskovy lazne (Revnice train station pub) with Marko. Flavour dominated by dried fruits, there is a lot of oxidation going on definitely. Med-high bitterness and medium sweetness. A bit astringent, but apart from dried fruits it is defined mostly by lots of caramel malt. Not great, not terrible.

Tap at Františkový Lázně, Řevnice, with Gurthnar. Murky brown body, off-white head. Berry, caramelly aroma, sticky. Sweetish caramelly, dried berry-like taste, simple but not bad, bit wintery, not exciting or thrilling but kinda okay really.

Alebock? Vagy mi a turesz ez? Mondhatni már-már doppelale. Mély lilagesztenye szín, melaszos édesség jellemzi.

This beer is a nice take on the style. Nice clean ferment, not so malty, but balanced. With a super charge of czech hops. Not bitter, but bright and lively. Pivovarsky Klub Prague
