We brewed this special IPA to commemorate the establishment of the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. We incorporated Maine-grown barley and wheat, along with generous amounts of hops with flavors and aromas of pine and citrus, reminiscent of the outdoors. Cheers to Mother Nature and all she provides us!
Flavor Profile: Aromas of melon, pineapple, and pink grapefruit. underlying notes of onion and garlic with subtle pine and a faint malt grain sweetness
Hops: Magnum, Simcoe, Mosaic, Columbus, Idaho 7
Malt: American 2-Row, Blue Ox Pale, Blue Ox Wheat, Blue Ox Vienna

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a frothy white head. Moderate citrus/pine aroma with some nice caramel support. Med body or nearly. Flavor is somewhat bitter citrus/pine. Some breadiness, but on the dry side. Moderate throughout, but very clean, very tasty.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was chalky, perfumey and a bit herbal. The flavor was chalky, perfumey, citric and bitter. Long finish. Medium body.
