We brewed this special IPA to commemorate the establishment of the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. We incorporated Maine-grown barley and wheat, along with generous amounts of hops with flavors and aromas of pine and citrus, reminiscent of the outdoors. Cheers to Mother Nature and all she provides us!

Well, hell, another beautiful IPA from Maine Beer Co. Heavy with grapefruit, lime zest, pineapple, and peach, followed up by earth, pine, and a mild bitterness on the back end. Wheat and cracker malt add a firm base, while the fade gives lingering citrus and woody notes. Grapefruit and grass on the nose. Gorgeous pour, coming out gold with a frothy, unyielding white head. Delicious.

Bottle. Floral, tropical fruit, resin, citrus in the nose. Clear gold. Flavor is fruit salad, dry and herbal but big citrus and tropical fruit and a bit of resin. Bit fruit reminded me of my first Sculpin so many years ago. Light and crisp. Excellent.

Bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek, 8/31/18. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of floral, dank, resiny hops, pale malt. Taste is mango, citrus, dank, resin, pale malt. Medium bodied, well balanced, mild lingering bitterness. So happy these guys entered the Wisconsin market!

On tap at Maine Beer, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out modestly dank hops upfront with a dry biscuIty malt underneath. Flavour is very dry, with a dry piney hop character, light citrus and soft biscuity malt. Such a great creamy piney hop character on the palate that isn't abrasive in any way, yet packs a great punch. Another excellent IPA here.

Draught @ Milk & Hops. Cloudy lemon yellow with small foamy whitish head, sharp citrus-mint aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter mango-lemon-mint taste, smooth body, long finish. Very smooth and delicious.

Pours a fairly clear, pale, light gold, with minimal head. Aroma has citrus and pine notes. Flavor follows suit, along with a touch of a well-water taste in the finish. On the whole, quite tasty and delicious.

Sample at the 6th Annual Craft Beer Festival by The Community Tap on 04/21/2018. Hazy pale golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
