Draft - Dark toffee and grains. Clear Amber with a decent beige head. Dark sweet caramel and a decent finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet bread with a toffee note underlying. Flavor has lots of sweet bread with a bit of toffee and a touch of cookie.

On tap at Rip Current, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, herbal notes and a little cabbage. Flavour is similar, with toasted nuts and lots of herbal notes that border on cabbage. Nothing like a traditional bock. Finishes sweet and vegetal. Okay.

Draught @ Festival of Dankness, San Diego. Aroma is malty with sweet fruitiness and nuts. Flavour has nuts, sweet fruity tones and bready malt. A dunker bock with American sweetness on the top.
