Sample from the bottle at Kangasalan Kasarmi. Thanks to Alanen! Color is dark brown with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, some milk chocolate, some sweetness and roasted malts. Simple but enjoyable.

From a 1Pt 6Fl Oz bottle on 3/4/2018. Pours a deep brown with a tiny head. The aroma features light coffee, chocolate and cinnamon notes. In the mouth, it's a real sweetie - heaps of milk chocolate, caramel, fudge and cola, with hints of cinnamon, coffee and lactose. This is set off against the mildest roasty bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A lovely interesting dessert beer. But be warned - you will only really enjoy if you have a very sweet tooth.

Bomber from Smokes and Suds, Lewiston. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, licorice. Pours black with a one finger tan head with decent retention, lacing the glass. Taste is quite sweet, with milky, chocolaty flavors, some cinnamon, licorice, coffee, mint. Very tasty concoction.

Draft - Dark chocolate and molasses with some sweetness, jet black brown with a small beige head. Sticky and sweet with no real horchata notes.

On tap at Belching Beaver, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, dry cocoa, and toasted nuts. Flavour is indeed like a horchata, with loads of cocoa and cinnamon, with light spice. Deep and rich, with wonderful balance. Excellent.

On tap at Belching, North Park, San Diego. Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, cinnamon, chocolate, some caramel and hints of light dark fruit. The body was almost full. The finish was sweet. Not a bad one but quite special.
