I remember when Duck Foot had a great rep. Last few beers that I've had of theirs have been pretty meh. This one has old hops. Bitter and sweet aren't balanced. It's drinkable, but just.

On tap at Draft at Mission Beach in San Diego. Bright orange gold color. Creamy beige wid minimal. Dank hop nose. Flavor follows nose. Big dank hop notes abound. Grapefruit, orange, mango and sticky pine. Boozy notes. Boom!

16 oz van poured, picked up at CraftShack. This one caught my eye because I visited Duck Foot a couple years back, and i also dont think I've ever tried a double white IPA. Fun! Pale golden appearance. Nice imperial here. Extra smooth for my expectation. Gloral and spice notes compliment a nice hop profile. Smooth taste. Flavorful lingering finish. Really nice brew.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with spice. Medium booed. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with spice.

On tap at Duck Foot, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney, earthy hops, with a toasted biscuity malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy hops, some pine, and toasted biscuity malt. Balanced very well, with an earthy, piney finish. Very good.

Draft - Sticky sweet orange. Cloudy copper with a nice white head. Bitter citrus peel and a long finish. Touch perfumy but not really ‘white’.
