It is a bit sour, but I don’t think they want that. However the sourness is actually pleasant. But the malt body is solid and the recipe seems great. Octo Beer Chisinau

JUL-2018. Cloudy red-brown, beige head. Smell like ripe plum and cherries with a hell of a lot of nail polish. Some pickles too. Later, as it aerates, you get some toasty notes. The taste is dark fruity sweetness, quite cloying with a some astringency and ashy notes. Rough. 5-4-5-3-11=2,8.
MAY-2018. TAP at Smokehouse/Taproom 27. Murky brown, beige head. Smells like sugar candy, lollipops, some fruity esters and a hint of brownie cake - a bit simplistic. The taste with a drying astringency, then gets sugary sweet. This weird journey continues with some burnt cardboard, finishing with a bit of spicy bitterness and an occasional nail polish remover prick. 5-3-5-3-11=2,7
