Hazy ruby, beige head. The aroma is fresh plums and alcohol, some milky caramel and muffins. Medium sweet, with fresh fruity notes, alcohol and some woody new oak tartness balancing the sugar. Quite big and clean enough, but it does feel like a younger straightforward fruity boozy strongie, lacking the velvety smoothness of a well aged strong ale.
