Cloudy amber-red, big beige head. The aroma is dry herbal spice, peppercorn and nutmeg. A touch of caramel malts but not delicate brighter fruity notes. The taste has a bit of caramel sweetness upfront, then goes all spicy peppery bitter, with a dry slightly boozy finish. There's vague fruity/malty notes, though it would be hard to tell if that's quince or something else. A nice spicy and bitter brew.
