On tap at KINDRED, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt, some straw and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with light earthy hops and biscuity malt. Dry and clean - it's a Cali Common - okay.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a slight white head. Aroma is bready with something citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is sort of citrus, sort of grassy and bready. Fresh and bitter. Not making me think of Anchor Steam, but maybe there’s a broader flavor range than the typical pils. Decent.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a nice pils bready malt and a big lemony hop. Flavor is a little bit thinner than the aroma let on. You still get a decent bready malt with the hops it’s just a little watery. I don’t think being brewed in the California Common style added anything to the beer. It is a solid pils though.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and yeast. Medium body, grass, lemon zest, yeast, light finish, very nice.

Draught @ Cico’s, San Diego. Aroma has grainy malt, butter and some fruitiness. Flavour has buttery malt, grain, some cereal and mild fruitiness. Also grass. Somewhat refreshing.

Draught @ Ciro’s, San Diego, CA. Pours yellowish golden with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of crisp malts, some grass, hay and sweetish notes. Taste is sweetish, malty and slightly grassy with some hints of hay and citrus. Finish is smooth, sweetish and slightly malty with hints of grass. Okay.

Lightly hazy gold with a stark white head. Powerful lemon and grass aroma. Medium, crisp, clean body. Flavor is lemon, grass, medium citrus. Really nice summer drinker. Clean and refreshing and awesome.
