500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral hoppy aroma, slightly nuttily, mellow malty background. Taste is floral and slightly fruity hoppy, minimally doughy malty, a touch of gooseberry and red berries, unripe peach; dry hoppy finish, almost lively, but fine and gentle carbonation. Very nice..

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Tribute to Shakespeare, 20160903) The beer poured light brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toffee, milk chocolate and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, caramel, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. A good but too sweet brew.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a one finger white head. Aroma: malt, caramel, citrus fruity hops. Taste: citrus fruit, peach, sweet caramel malt, light bitterness, finish wasn’t that bitter either. Medium body, oily texture. Bitters aren’t usually my thing but I liked this one, though it felt more like a golden ale to be honest. Either way, a good, drinkable beer, albeit nothing spectacular.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ben’s place. Thanks Rotem for this bottle! Clear amber. Aroma of malt, some floral and fruity hops, a bit skunky, and a bit of butter. Sweet flavor with malt, a bit of caramel, and bitterish floral hops, slightly skunky. Light to medium-bodied.

Cask at the Swan, Broadway. Chestnut with a thick cream-coloured head. Good rich mouthfeel. Toffee flavours with orange and a little earthy bitterness. Top-notch traditional-ish bitter. Lovely. Purity really are very good.

Cask right after a nice big English breakfast. Clear copper to amber color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly hops and a bit floral. Taste malts, nice lightly sweetish floral hops again, softly bitter. Soft mouthfeel, average body. Quite pleasant at 10.30 in the morning.
