Bottle sample at a tasting at zvikar's place. Thanks Stas & zvikar. Reddish brown. Berries, funk, a bit of vanilla, oak, sour, somewhat acidic, some caramel, a bit lemony, medium-bodied. Really good.

On tap at Council, pours a deep dark mahogany / dark brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart dark fruits, oak and light wild yeast. Flavour is loaded with tart dark berries, light wild yeast and wood. Lots of dark berries and wood. This is nice.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vinegar, oak, leather, vanilla. Medium body, nice tartness, light acidity, similar flavors to nose, very good.

(Tap sample @ Council, Apr ’17) Pours deep brown with an off white head. Notes of strawberry preserve, tart red berries, slight plum, oaky, vanilla, slightly toasted grain and chocolate quality to the base, light caramel sweetness, semi-sour overall, finish is pretty dry, woody, lingering fruity tartness. Light to medium bodied, soft carb. Solid sour brown, nothing revolutionary but goes down pretty easy without too bracing a sour character.
