0.5 l bottle from local ’trinkgut’, best before November 2017. Hazy, luscious yellow with a large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of wheat, banana, dough and some clove. Sweetish, malty, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of wheat, banana, light citrus and some vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Weizen although it lacks a lot of that typical yeast character you can find in the archetypal Hefeweizen.

Bottle shared at kermis’s, thanks. Hazy pale golden with firm white head. Sweet wheat, lot of dry wheat, some light ripe banana, some plastic and cardboard. Light sweet and bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Creamy, milky feel.

* Old rating, 50cl crown-top bottle, best before 21.04.06.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy gold, massive rocky white head. Light banana, light spice. Taste brings some brown bread, light sweetness. A touch thin, but not bad.

Piana i klarowność bez zarzutów.

50cl Bottle at Kaffee ’t Buitenbeentje, Tilburg. Hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of candy, some yeast, a bit of sweet banana. Flavour is sweet, candy, bit of plastic, light fruity. Light bodied. Nothing off, but just an extremely disappointing Weizen, didn’t finish the glass.
