Roasted malts and seeds, coffee, some chocolate. Quite bold for 6.4%. Taste is along the same lines. Finished dry with black chocolate and roasted malts notes. Well made.

Draft - Nitro - Istmeal dark silky malts. Jet brown with a nice beige head. Dark oatmeal and chocolate.

On tap at the brewery pours black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate roast malts and some coffee. Tatse is more of the nice roast coffee and sweetness.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours. Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma starts chocolate and dark malt. Med body at least. Flavor is smooth dark malt and chocolate that almost has coffee notes. It’s a smooth creamy beast. Not all that dry, and not all that bitter. Must be balanced. Guess oats provide the smooth. In the end it seems to come down to dark, earthy chocolate. Pleasing drink.
