We collaborated with our friends at Indeed Brewing on this smoked doppelbock, using freshly oak-smoked pilsner malt from Indiana’s Sugar Creek Malting. As you might expect from the name, it's oaky, it's smokey, and it has a sturdy malt backbone.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with an amber hue and a light tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a sweet smoke and oak note with sweet grains and bread backing. Flavor has sweet grains and a bit of cookie with a bit of smoke and oak in the finish.
