New era of our Czech Pilsner!
Following in the footsteps of CZECHMATE, PIVO is a crisp, clean lager with just the right amount of bitterness and (!) a subtle hint of buttery diacetyl—yep, that little something we felt was missing in our previous Czech Pils.
So, why the name change? Simple: we’ve switched up our malt supplier, which inspired us to tweak the recipe and brew up a new version of the classic. But not to worry—PIVO is still 100% Czech at heart. We’re using Pilsner malt sourced from Czechia, more precisely from the malthouse Sladovna Kounice, and hops Saaz (Poloranný Červeňák) and Sládek grown in the Czech hop haven of Žatec.
Just a little P.S. for the folks interested in languages: Yes. This beer is literally called BEER in Czech. What to say, we’re just that creative.

440ml can from KCM Vantaa Jumbo.
Poured clear and golden in color.
Unfortunately not very czech pils like this one. Sweet, fruity, no Saaz, no bitterness found.

Crisp, sweetish and bready malty with hints of buttery vibes, grass, herbal hops and hay, hints of bitterness. Pretty authentic Czech pils. Crushable.
