WEST COAST DOUBLE IPA. We decided to break our session beer rules just this one time with our good good buddies from Everywhere Beer for our 1 year anniversary :) brewed with a nice simple grain bill and hopped to an alarming degree with Citra, Riwaka, Columbus cryo, Krush cryo, Mosaic dynaboost, and Ekuanot. It’s a lot of hops. Huge dank and tropical hop punch with a pleasant bitterness and nice clean finish at 8% ABV.

Pint can pours with a mostly clear gold colored body that supports a nice short lived bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up pineapple and tangerine flowing into firm, yet somehow vague, berry fruitiness. Nice. The taste delivers a fair load of pineapple followed by a nice tangerine to nectarine citrussness. To midway it picks up a facet of spicy bitter hops that are quickly consumed by a feeding frenzy of berry fruity hop flavor and modestly tart bitter hop notes. This is clean enough and stays clear of being too sweet. The tropical / pineapple influence has become tiresome for my tastes. Still. Solid offering.
