This beautiful mixed fermentation, foudre aged beer was rested on whole damsons. The naturally sweet and sharp flavours of the fruit marry with the gentle acidity of the beer for an evocative drinking experience.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 20/06/2026.
Pinkish orange topped with a lasting faded crimson cap.
Nose is tarte berries, herb, hedgerow, grains.
Taste comprises tangy ted berries, damp wood, herb, modest funk, berry skins, damson chimes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light pickering edge.
Tidy refresher.

Draft at Beerarama, Eastbourne. Poured a slightly hazy reddish pink colour with an everlasting frothy milky white head. The aroma is yeasty, light damson. The flavour is moderate sour, with a fresh, smooth, earthy, tart damson palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nice, but not the kind of beer that I would probably buy again.
