Cask at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky straw with minimal off-white head, good lacing and low carbonation. There’s mango and citrus in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet, smooth and creamy but with little actual taste ! There’s some kiwi and mango and traces of orange and citrus come through later. A slight sharpness in the finish. This is the epitome of a bland beer – though it is quite refreshing.

Cask at sureshot brewery. A hazed milky yellow straw coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is waxy citrus, crayon, green mango. Flavour is composed of soft wheat. Grassy, waxy citrus, pithy citrus wallpaper paste. Pretty bad. Palate is floury, grainy, paste, mellow carbonation. Not great.
