Eight Acre celebrates our 8th birthday! This West Coast beer is a nod to some of our loved West Coast style beers we drank years ago. We've kept the malt bill lean and crisp for a robust hopping schedule. A blend of Centennial, Simcoe and Columbus have been used at 4 different stages for bittering and whirlpool additions to layer up the flavours and give a balanced bitterness. We have then used Amarillo, Simcoe and a touch of Columbus and Centennial in the dry hop for an overripe citrus and pine crush. Splitting our hopping bill into 8 component parts creates a deliciously layered birthday celebration.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Nice citrusy nose, splosh of white grape, gooseberry jam. Taste is grapefruit, gooseberry, lime, verbena, faint hints of tropical fruit. Mouth coating piney citrus action. Rather nice

Can at Kessingland chalet picked up from hopsters Woodbridge. A clear pale gold yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is floral pine, diesel, woody pine, semi crisp grains. Flavour is composed of semi crisp grains, piney hop, light bark, little floral note. Palate is crisp, light hop oils, hiahish carbonation. Goes down well.
