NYC Beer Week Opening Bash: pours broght dark red with a whitish head. Aroma is vinegar and boysenberry and funk. Taste is fairly sour. Very berry. Interesting aftertaste. Lingering.

Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy purple with small pinkish white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, berry, lemon. Medium body, jammy, berry, oak, light funk, nice tartness, very nice.

Bottle sample at Release the Funk 5. Royal purple color, nearly clear, pink bubbles. Fruity berry aroma and light funk. Taste has tannins, berries, soft sourness, dust. tasty.
