Almost opaque colour, steady brownish head. Toasted banana, yeast, hops in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted malts, hints of banana, burned notes, licorice, yeast and hoppy bitterness. Interesting, different.

Lean on the hopfen, heavy on the black. Dry, malty, roasty, bread and filter coffee. Nice.

Poured dark brown in color.
Light smokey notes, ripe sweet banana, some yeast in aroma. Interesting.

Smell of ash, yeast, banana. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt, some hops and faint banana in background. Lingering ashy bitterness. Flat carbon. Dry palate. Not bad, but not quite sure what to think of this.

A black hopfenweisse... this is very interesting. Almost black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has roastiness and fruitness, banana, very light wheat. Taste has fruitness, some roastiness of coffee notes, also bitterness. Medium bodied. This is weird, but somehow it's working pretty nicely.
