Ardent’s Winter American Sour Blend is a barrel-fermented sour red ale cultured with our house strain. Amber-colored with a roasty aroma, this blended beer was aged in oak for 10 months and balances a malty sweetness with rounded tart flavors and notes of plum and sour cherry.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours a dark amber with small beige head. The aroma is plum, grape, wheat. Thin body, grape skin, earth, nice tartness, very good.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear amber. Sour caramel aroma if there can be such a thing. Taste is profoundly tart and desert dry. Americans will like this one.
