Thanks Brian for the growler.
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a light transparency about it. Some red hues along the sides. Thin cap of a little white head, some sliding lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet to roasty nuts, nice smooth caramel/toffee malts, and some smooth sweet milk chocolate. Slight grassiness at the end.
The flavor blended fairly nice between all of the previously mentioned aromas. Slight smooth pleasant aftertaste of the same. Finished pretty smooth too.
The palate was just a touch below medium bodied with a fairly nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty good brown ale that I would have again.

On draft at the brewery it is a dark brown color with a slight ecru head. The aroma is coffee and the taste is a bitter hints of coffee and some bitter chocolate
