On draft at the brewery in Fairbanks. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Bready nose. Grassy flavors. Bitter finish.

At Capital Brew fest.
This was poured into a mini snifter.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden orange to amber color with a slight transparency about it allowing some carbonation to be seen rising.
The smell had a really nice sweet English maltiness about it. However, I dug a fairly nice quick citrus punch that this one offered.
The taste offered the same balance of English malts combining with the citrus hops, smartly balanced to offer a nice sounding sweetness but also the bitterness as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and good for the style and for me, fairly sharp but still nicely rolling over my tongue spectacularly.
Overall, oh wow, for all of this time I’ve been living in SE Alaska my go to English IPA has been Sunken Island by Kenai but this...needs to show its face in Juneau more often - next time - blind test taste - it’s on HooDoo - show me what you got. Face off!
