On draft at the brewery in Fairbanks. Pours a clear gold with a creamy white head. Malty nose. Flavors of bread and toast. Light bitter finish.

From his growler, we shared and I poured this into a pilsener.
The appearance was a rich glossy golden amber color with a one and a half finger white to off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light speckled lacing grazing around the glass delicately.
The smell had a sweet spicy and somewhat banana-esque inviting citrusy honey and a light sugary base to it.
The taste pretty much copied the smell.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. There’s a nice light carbonation about it that’s definitely do-able for the style.
Overall, good Maibock I think I could do again.
